Spartan Sport Group is proud to announce the addition of another key member to its skills staff. Ryan will join in both the U16 and U18 programs, working with athletes on puck skills, puck movement, quickness, and conditioning.
Ryan is a former 1st overall WHL draft pick to the Prince George Cougars. He played over 220 games in the Western Hockey League before moving on to attend York University, where he attained his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration while both playing and doing strength and conditioning for the York Lions men’s hockey team.

He spent the 2015/2016 season as a coach for the North Shore Winter Club Bantam A2 hockey team while doing skills work with players on the North Shore. He is also the head coach for the North Shore Warriors spring hockey program as well as coaching in the summer hockey program at North Shore Winter Club.
“Ryan brings an excellent work ethic and intensity to our program. He has a wealth of knowledge to help our players both on and off the ice and is extremely well respected in the hockey community. I’m proud to have Ryan as a part of our program in his capacity as one of our skills consultants.” – Yashar Farmanara, Athletic Director
