“Paul’s desire to coach and passion to help young hockey players and coaches develop is what we are most impressed with. Paul’s knowledge of the game is second to none, and experience at the professional level and NHL is a major asset for the program. He has years of involvement and contribution to youth hockey in Vancouver and we are extremely pleased to have him involved with our program. Having experienced the game and had his sons go through the hockey development path, Paul’s contribution and mentorship of our young players will be invaluable.” – Yashar Farmanara, Director of Athletics.

Paul is a former first round NHL draft pick, chosen 12th overall, and went on to amass 560 points in 648 games as a defenseman. He is also a two-time NHL All-Star, and alumni member of Team Canada. His three sons Max, Griffin, and Sam, all went through the Hollyburn hockey program and are currently playing professional hockey in the NHL.
